Project Coordinator

Join the VanMar Team For more than 50 years, VanMar has built a reputation for quality construction, strong relationships, and a commitment to the communities where we work. We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Project Management team.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will support the planning and coordination of assigned construction projects, working closely with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, consultants, trades, and other project partners.

What You’ll Do

- Assist with the planning and coordination of construction activities and project documentation
- Review technical drawings and track procurement requirements
- Assist with tendering, contracts, scopes of work, and change orders
- Support project scheduling, monitoring, and day to day problem solving
- Maintain robust relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and project owners
- Support project meetings, documentation, occupancy requirements, and project closeout
- Work closely with Project Managers and site teams to keep projects moving forward





What We’re Looking For

- 2+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator
- Previous experience in the construction industry, with midrise or high rise experience preferred
- Diploma or degree in Construction Technology or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of trade sequencing and construction methodology
- Proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, and Procore
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and ability to attend site and project meetings as required
