Technician – L3 Networking Specialist Project Technician – L3 Networking Specialist, you will be responsible toplays a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of advanced networking projects for our clients. This position focuses on providing high-level expertise in network infrastructure, security, and connectivity solutions across multiple environments within the MSP ecosystem. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (8:30 a.m. – Hybrid or remote Travel: Dependent on project requirements Lead the implementation and deployment of complex networking projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new site setups.
Support escalation tickets and on call Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, pre-sales and clients to define technical requirements and project scope. Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of network issues escalated from Tier 2 teams. Configure and optimize network monitoring and performance tools (e.g., Document all configurations, procedures, and project deliverables clearly in the internal knowledge base.
Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance to operations teams. Participate in client meetings and provide post-project support as required. College diploma or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking Minimum 5–7 years of experience in network engineering or project implementation within an MSP environment.
Proven experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously. Strong knowledge of Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer asset) and Cisco/Meraki product lines. Hands-on experience with full firewall configuration, VPNs, and SD-WAN.
Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, M365 connectivity) is a strong asset. Scripting or automation knowledge (PowerShell, Python) is an asset. Fortinet NSE 4+ ,Cisco CCNP ,CompTIA Network+ or Security+ (Preferred) Robust analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
