We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our growing real estate organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of commercial and residential properties in Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities

- Manage full-cycle property accounting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare and review property-level financial statements and supporting schedules
- Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
- Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit requirements
- Work closely with property managers to ensure accurate reporting and issue resolution
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable activities
- Assist with improving accounting processes and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance,



or related field
- Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience
- Experience in property accounting or real estate accounting is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of month-end and year-end accounting procedures
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA is considered an asset
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Compensation Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
