TransRe is seeking an experienced Underwriter to manage the Property Facultative portfolio in Canada.

Selecting, pricing and underwriting facultative property business

Staying up to date on industry dynamics and policy form coverages

Minimum of 5+ years as an underwriter in property facultative reinsurance

Proven track record of relationship building in the Canadian P&C; market

Proven experience underwriting property business with an emphasis on property facultative

Experience managing an underwriting portfolio and familiarity with common property risksAbility to analyze and evaluate contract language

Written and Oral fluency in French is a plus

Solid understanding of the cause-effect relationship of decisions and their impact on the business

Robust interpersonal, communication, excel and word skills
