The Opportunity:

- As a Purchaser you will join the Manufacturing Division where your mandate will be to offer exceptional quoting, purchasing and administrative support and services.

Job Type:

- Full Time - 40 Hours per week

Rate:

- Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience

Shift:

- Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Main Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors
- Receive requisitions to obtain price and deliveries from vendors and place orders for the division
- Set up new vendors and fill out credit applications




- Match customer purchase orders with work orders and sales invoices
- Issue and organize purchase orders for the division and notify shipping
- Arrange trucking and set up customs paperwork when necessary
- Expedite materials and supplies for the division (order, back order/returns)
- Approve vendor invoices for the division, receive and forward to accounting
- Perform general administrative duties such as typing and filing
- Processing invoices and other purchasing and administrative duties as required

Qualifications:

- High school diploma, GED
- 5 years’ experience in Purchasing
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting would be an asset

Required Skills:

- Exceptional Communications (i.e. writing and speaking) skills
- Experience working with ERP systems
