Role Summary
We are looking for a Purchasing & Inventory Manager to take ownership of purchasing, supplier coordination, and inventory planning across our Canadian distribution network.
You will work closely with our suppliers, Orders, Warehouse and Sales teams to make sure we have the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, analytical, proactive, and enjoys solving problems. You'll have a direct impact on how we purchase, manage, and distribute products across Canada.
Key Responsibilities
Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Create, manage, and submit purchase orders with 150+ domestic and international suppliers.
- Track purchase orders and resolve delays, backorders, shortages and discrepancies.
- Coordinate inbound shipments and required documentation.
- Review supplier invoices and freight charges.
- Maintain accurate supplier information, pricing, payment terms, and contracts in our ERP system.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels across our Canadian distribution centers.
- Plan purchasing and replenishment to maintain healthy stock levels.
- Coordinate inventory transfers between distribution centers.
- Forecast future inventory requirements based on sales trends, lead times, and historical demand in our ERP system.
- Calculate reorder points and safety stock requirements.
- Identify and manage slow-moving, excess, and deadstock inventory.
- Process inventory adjustments, returns, and reconciliations.
- Provide quarterly demand forecasts to key suppliers.
Systems & Process Improvement
- Maintain accurate product and supplier information in our ERP system.
- Analyze purchasing, inventory,
and sales data using Excel and ERP tools.
- Ensure supplier pricing and purchasing information remains accurate.
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing, inventory, and operational processes.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, supply chain, or a related field
- English speaking and writing proficiency (native/fluent).
- High-school diploma required, with a strong preference for post-secondary education.
- Excellent organization, planning, time management, attention to details, and communication skills.
- Previous experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Inventory Management and. Warehouse Management Systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong organizational and data entry skills.

Pay: $52,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
