Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Control Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will support the quality management process by inspecting products, collecting data, and ensuring that all items meet our high standards of quality assurance. Your keen eye for detail and strong analysis skills will help maintain the integrity of our products and uphold customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform Quantitative and qualitative Analysis for Raw Materials, bulk/finished products using titrimetric and wet chemistry techniques.
- Develop and validate analytical methods for drug products.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards applicable to OTC pharmaceutical manufacturing, such as FDA, cGMP, and ICH guidelines.
- Develop and implement lab best practices to improve workflow efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity.
- Participate in root-cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), deviation investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Effective communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledgeable in the investigation and documentation of Out-of-Specification (OOS) and Out-of-Trend (OOT) results.
- Ensure laboratory instruments are calibrated, qualified, and maintained in compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the preparation and review of technical documents, including SOPs, protocols, method validation reports, and COAs
- Perform routine instrument checks, troubleshoot analytical equipment when required, and promptly report equipment malfunctions or calibration issues
- Maintain accurate, complete, and traceable laboratory records in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and data-integrity requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor in chemistry or analytical chemistry
- At least 3 year of relevant laboratory experience, preferably in Quality Control, setting within the pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, or related regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles and manufacturing processes
- Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data collection
- Knowledge of quality assurance standards and QA/QC procedures in a manufacturing setting
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training and participate in continuing education programs.
- Flexibility to work different shifts if necessary, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical ability to perform laboratory tasks and operate equipment
Pay: $23.50 per hour
