We are a translation company specializing in high-quality multilingual content for organizations across Canada. We are currently expanding our team and seeking an experienced Quality Control Reviser to review and refine translations into Canadian French.
Position Overview The Quality Control Reviser will be responsible for reviewing translated content to ensure linguistic accuracy, correct terminology, consistency, and compliance with client guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Review translations from English into Canadian French for accuracy, clarity, tone, and consistency
- Identify and correct linguistic, grammatical, stylistic, or terminology errors
- Ensure adherence to client-specific instructions, glossaries, and brand voice
- Provide feedback to translators when necessary
- Flag any potential issues, ambiguities, or missing content
- Collaborate with the project manager to ensure timely deliveries
- Requirements
- Native proficiency in Canadian French
- Excellent command of written English
- Minimum 3 years of experience in translation revision, proofreading, or linguistic quality control
- Strong knowledge of Canadian French terminology, style conventions, and regional nuances
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with CAT tools (e.g., Trados) is an asset
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Nice-to-Have
- Experience translating or revising content in government, non-profit, e-commerce, or mining sectors
- Knowledge of terminology databases and style guides used in Canada
