Extendicare is seeking a Housekeeping Aide in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, for a Casual/On Call position. Play a key role in delivering a safe, clean atmosphere for residents.
As a crucial member of our Support Services team, you'll carry out housekeeping duties in accordance with our strict policies on sanitation and safety in our Long-Term Care facility. You will be responsible for the use of various cleaning products while ensuring compliance with infection control measures. Participation in ongoing training and team meetings is also essential to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the cleanliness of resident and staff areas
• Utilize cleaning and sanitizing agents properly
• Attend staff meetings and complete training programs




• Adhere to safety and infection prevention policies
• Manage physical tasks, including heavy lifting
