Join O'Dell HVAC Group as an HVAC Estimator in our Ottawa office. In this role, you'll prepare takeoffs, produce competitive quotes, and collaborate with manufacturers to deliver accurate bids.
As part of our Sales team, you'll report to the Regional Sales Manager, ensuring effective communication regarding HVAC projects. Your responsibilities will include reviewing tender documents, confirming product conformity, and using our ERP system, NetSuite, to generate quotations. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are crucial for maintaining positive vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review specifications and mechanical drawings for accuracy
• Provide detailed equipment takeoffs and pricing
• Generate bills of materials for projects




• Liaise with vendors for competitive pricing options
• Collaborate with internal teams on project updates
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in Mechanical Technology or Engineering
• Experience in the construction or sales field is advantageous
• Robust Microsoft Office and ERP skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid passport for travel within Canada/USA
