Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Quality Inspector/CMM Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive mechanical and quality experiences, as well as CMM programming knowledge. This role is essential in ensuring that our production meets the highest quality standards.

Duties

- Coordinate inspection requirements for plant and customer needs with advanced quality and production groups.
- Develop the required CMM programs to conduct full dimensional part layouts and create appropriate reports for PPAP submissions based off customer/internal requirements.
- Provide CMM statistical analysis to support problem investigations.
- Create and maintain proper documentation of inspection results.
- Maintain CMM in good working condition and perform validation checks frequently.
- Perform inspection using a variety of other precision measurement equipment to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Perform First-article, in-process, and final inspections on stamped components.




- Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities.
- Other tasks as assigned by Quality Manager.

Job Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as a Qulaity inspector/CMM programmer, preferably in the manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience programming and operating CMMs (POLYWORKS preferred)
- Strong understanding of GD&T; and precision measurement techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and part specifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards
- Familiarity with root cause and corrective action methods.
