Become a Railcar Movement Operator at American Iron & Metal in Montreal-Est, Québec. Focus on operating shuttle trains and ensuring secure material handling in a dynamic environment. This position offers a permanent full-time role with hours from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

You will be responsible for receiving railcars, loading materials, and maintaining track and equipment safety. Effective collaboration with the team and adherence to safety protocols are essential in this role. Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and position railcars as they arrive
- Accurately load materials into railcars
- Maintain cleanliness of tracks and switches
- Cut metal parts as needed using a torch
- Conduct safety checks on rail equipment

Requirements:

- Background in a manufacturing environment
- Heavy equipment operation experience
- Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Responsible, autonomous work ethic
- Welding experience is advantageous
