RED SEAL JOURNEYPERSON ELECTRICIANS

2 FULL-TIME, PERMANENT POSITIONS

RTX Electric is hiring two experienced Red Seal journeyperson electricians who take pride in safe, dependable, high-quality workmanship and are willing to travel to project sites as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
- Install conduit, cable tray, wiring, panels, fixtures, controls, and related components.
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all work meets applicable codes, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors, other trades, and project teams while maintaining a clean, safe work area.
- Follow company and site-specific safety requirements and travel to project locations as required.

QUALIFICATIONS




- Valid Red Seal Construction Electrician certification.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safe work practices.
- Ability to read construction drawings and electrical plans.
- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanship.
- Willing and able to travel; valid driver's licence and own transportation required.
- Small-team leadership experience is considered an asset.
