Position Overview

As a Sales Manager, you will lead the growth and performance of an assigned territory by developing and coaching a high-performing team of Sales Representatives, building strong customer relationships,



and identifying opportunities to increase market share and profitability. This role requires a consistent presence in the field through ride-alongs, customer visits, and market engagement to support team development and stay connected to customer needs. Working closely with Service, Parts, Branch Leadership, and other cross-functional teams, you will help align business objectives, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and drive sustainable growth.

This position operates with a high degree of autonomy, empowering you to make decisions, solve problems, and lead initiatives that contribute to the success of your team, customers, and the overall business.

What you will do

- Coach and mentor a team of sales representatives, fostering growth and accountability through relevant training programs and coaching opportunities.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with partners to strengthen market presence and ensure wholegoods inventory requirements are being met.
- Ensure customers receive tailored equipment, industry expertise, and strategic solutions that meet their unique needs.
- Maintain a consistent field presence through customer visits and Sales Representative ride-alongs to build market awareness,



strengthen customer partnerships, coach sales team members, and ensure sales strategies are effectively executed.
- Facilitate budgeting processes, including forecasting sales, profit margins and plans for execution.
- Monitor profit and loss statements to ensure key performance indicators are being met.
- Ensure adherence to overall company policies and procedures, with emphasis on health and safety regulations.
- Develop and influence a healthy team culture through daily leadership of the sales department. Promote collaboration, diversity, and a customer-first mindset.
- Set clear goals, monitor performance, and implement strategies to exceed sales targets.

What we are looking for

- Strong organizational and decision-making abilities, with a desire to take initiative and accept responsibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent technical, interpersonal and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to maintain a professional presence, ensuring satisfactory resolutions to problems or concerns.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite
- Ability to manage call plan reviews, margins, prospecting and growth activities and performance.
- Sales management experience an asset.
