Responsibilities

- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup, ensuring optimal oral health for each patient
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and preventive care strategies
- Assist with patient examinations by recording medical history and current dental concerns
- Support the dental team with procedures such as applying sealants or fluoride treatments
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental practice management software like Dentrix
- Ensure the clinical area is clean,



sterilized, and organized in compliance with infection control standards

Skills

- Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental office environment
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, medical terminology, and infection control protocols
- Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse patient populations
- Experience with orthodontics and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Background in dental assisting or related roles enhances your ability to support the team effectively
