Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. This role requires strong communication skills, classroom experience, and a genuine love for working with children. Abilities in experience with children with disabilities or in special education, are highly valued.

The Early Childhood

Teacher will play a vital role in fostering developmental growth and ensuring a positive learning experience for all students.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Create a protected, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment
- Engage children in educational activities that encourage curiosity and learning
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs
- Maintain accurate records of student development and classroom activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements and classroom management strategies
- Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes
- Manage classroom time efficiently to maximize learning opportunities




- Demonstrate leadership in guiding children through daily routines and activities
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or requiring special education support

Experience

- Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings is preferred
- Experience working with children with disabilities or in special education is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff
- Familiarity with computer operation for educational tools, record keeping, and communication platforms
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities while maintaining a nurturing approach
- Knowledge of childcare best practices, early childhood development principles, and teaching methodologies
