Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. This role is ideal for an RMT who is passionate about combining therapeutic expertise with medical-based treatments. You will play an important role in supporting post-surgical recovery, reducing swelling, and improving patient outcomes through specialized massage techniques, particularly manual lymphatic drainage (MLD).

Responsibilities

- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and other therapeutic techniques
- Assess clients’ physical conditions and discuss their wellness goals to develop personalized treatment plans
- Perform manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) and post-operative massage treatments
- Maintain accurate client records and document treatment details in compliance with privacy standards
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate wellness practices or products
- Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation and safety protocols




- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide exceptional customer service
- Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education and training

Qualifications

- Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by provincial regulations
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health, anatomy, and wellness practices
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatments and addressing client questions or concerns
- Prior experience in a spa or wellness setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a caring attitude at all times
