Join us as a Registered Nurse in the Outpatient Emergency Department for a temporary role from January until May 2026. Your expertise in acute care will enhance patient experiences and support. As a vital member of the outpatient team, you will deliver nursing care that meets high standards. Successful candidates will have a minimum of two years in an acute care setting and must hold a Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario. A.C.L.S.
certification is essential or should be acquired at the candidate's expense during employment. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients and families
- Effectively assess and document patient conditions
- Exhibit strong judgement and decision-making skills
- Communicate clearly with patients and staff
- Act as a triage nurse when required Requirements:
- Current Ontario nursing competence certification
- At least two years experience in acute care
- A.C.L.S.
certification needed or willingness to obtain
- Knowledge of Nursing Practice Standards in Ontario
- Triage training is advantageous but not mandatory Make a significant impact on patient care in the rapid-paced Outpatient Emergency Department by applying your skills and experience.
