Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions to identify impairments and functional limitations
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and rehabilitation exercises
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards




- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and uphold infection control practices during all patient interactions

Requirements

- Valid licensure or registration as a licensed Physiotherapist in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience working in hospital settings with exposure to acute care environments
- Experience providing physiotherapy services to pediatric patients is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical assessment techniques
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations
- Ability to work effectively within a quick-paced healthcare environment while maintaining attention to detail
