Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team. The RPN will utilize their expertise in nursing practices to support resident well-being, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care. Experience with seniors is highly valued. Majority of hours will be from 7am-7pm every other weekend however, other shifts may be available depending on operational needs.

Duties

- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess health status regularly
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation using Point Click Care
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans




- Supervise Unregulated Care Providers and Personal Support workers
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations

Requirements

- Valid registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the appropriate licensing body
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred
- Solid communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion

Job Type: Casual Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour
