Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Part-Time

Centre for Pulmonary Rehabilitation (CPR) – North Bay, OntarioTwo Part-Time Positions Available The Centre for Pulmonary Rehabilitation (CPR) is looking for two Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) to join our growing team in North Bay.

CPR is an RRT-owned and operated respiratory care company that has been serving patients for more than 20 years. Our services extend well beyond traditional home respiratory care and include Home Oxygen, CPAP and sleep therapy, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Respirology clinics, respiratory education, and participation in clinical research initiatives.

We are looking for RRTs who enjoy working independently, building relationships with patients, and being part of a small, team-oriented team. These positions will initially focus primarily on Home Oxygen and CPAP, with opportunities to expand into other areas of our practice based on experience and interest.

The Role

Primary responsibilities will include

- Assessment, education, setup and ongoing support of patients requiring home oxygen therapy
- CPAP setup, education, troubleshooting and follow-up
- Monitoring patient progress and communicating with physicians and other members of the healthcare team
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and equipment records
- Providing respiratory education to patients and families
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with local physicians, Respirologists, Family Health Teams and other referral partners
- Participating in Pulmonary Rehabilitation following appropriate training




- Opportunities to participate in Respirology clinic days
- Opportunities to assist with clinical research studies and other respiratory care initiatives
- Supporting other areas of CPR’s respiratory programs as our services continue to grow

Who We’re Looking For

Applicants must

- Be currently registered and in good standing as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Ontario
- Have strong clinical assessment, communication and patient-education skills
- Be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrate excellent organization and documentation skills
- Have an interest in community-based respiratory care and chronic disease management
- Be comfortable working directly with patients in both clinic and community/home-care settings
- Have a valid driver’s licence, clean driving record and reliable vehicle for community and home visits
- Be available to participate in on-call coverage as required

Experience in home oxygen, sleep therapy/CPAP, pulmonary rehabilitation is an asset; however, we are also interested in RRTs who are eager to learn and grow into these areas.

A Certified Respiratory Educator (CRE) designation is an asset.



Support for additional education and training can be discussed with successful candidates.

We offer flexible part-time hours within our Monday-to-Friday clinic schedule of 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., allowing the position to be structured around both operational needs and candidate availability. Mileage is reimbursed for required work-related travel.

We are a small team and are looking for people who will be a good long-term fit with our patients, our staff and the way we provide care.

Position: Part-Time – Two positions available

Location: North Bay, Ontario

Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Schedule: Flexible part-time hours; on-call coverage may be required

Travel: Local travel/home visits required; mileage reimbursed

Compensation and benefits: Competitive and based on experience

We welcome applications from RRTs with established community respiratory experience as well as those interested in expanding their clinical practice into community-based respiratory care.

Pay: $29.00-$36.00 per hour
