We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Rental Yard Associate to join our team! In this energetic role, you will be the face of our rental yard, providing exceptional customer service while managing equipment and inventory. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help ensure smooth operations, assist customers with rentals and returns, and maintain a safe and efficient yard environment.

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop mechanical, communication, and administrative skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard setting by performing routine maintenance checks on equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by helping customers load and unload equipment and provide basic instructions on equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate rentals and ensure smooth yard operations and that equipment is ready for rental
- Install and uninstall construction fencing
- Pressure washing of equipment




- Inspect equipment for damages
- Always looking for ways to help and assist co workers
- Follow safe work practices and procedures
- Help with deliveries
- Eager to learn

Skills

- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for equipment is beneficial
- Valid G drivers license with clean driving record. A or D license is an asset
- Familiarity with various types of construction equipment
- Able to lift up to 50lbs (bending, squatting, crouching, reaching)
- Working indoors and outdoors will be required
