The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada’s largest academic health sciences centre dedicated to mental health and addiction. Research in the Forensic Psychiatry Research Division is focused on diverse interests, including Risk and Recovery, Law and Ethics, Correctional Mental Health, and Sexual Behaviors.
The Forensic Psychiatry Division is currently recruiting a full-time, permanent, Research Manager to support on-going research activities. This role will report to the Research Operations Manager, Clinical Research and the Division Chief. The Research Manager will oversee all research study operations.
Collaborating with study investigators and stakeholders
Manage all aspects of human resources including recruitment, hiring, training, and daily supervision of staff
Provide fiscal management and support the reporting obligations associated with each grant
Monitor key performance indicators and support quality and safety initiatives
Co-ordinate and facilitate current and new research projects
Assist in writing and/or submission of current grants and protocols
Adhere to and meet REB and regulatory requirements
Oversee and manage all aspects of research projects, including multi-site projects as applicable,
from study start-up to close out
As a key member of the team, the successful incumbent will be expected to work collaboratively on projects with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally. The incumbent will champion and lead initiatives that support a workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable policies, procedures and legislation. This position is located at 1001 Queen Street West, with travel between sites, as necessary.
