SB LLP is seeking an experienced Residential Real Estate Conveyancer to join our team.

We are looking for a motivated and organized professional who can confidently manage residential real estate transactions from start to finish and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented law firm environment.

About the Role The successful candidate will independently manage approximately 25–30 residential real estate transactions per month, including purchases, sales, and refinances. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage competing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage residential real estate purchase, sale, and refinance transactions from opening file through to completion.
- Prepare, draft, and review all necessary documentation related to residential real estate transactions.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with clients, realtors, lenders, other law firms, and other parties involved in each transaction.
- Ensure files are organized, accurate, and completed within required timelines.
- Monitor deadlines and follow up proactively to keep transactions moving smoothly.
- Provide professional and responsive service to clients throughout the transaction process.

Qualifications & Skills The ideal candidate will have:




- A minimum of 2 years of residential real estate conveyancing experience with an Alberta law firm.
- The ability to independently manage approximately 25–30 sale, purchase, and refinance transactions per month.
- Strong knowledge of Alberta residential real estate conveyancing procedures and requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.
- The ability to remain calm, productive, and effective in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, lender portals, and other relevant software.
- A professional, client-focused approach and a commitment to providing excellent service.
