- Take and process customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation tasks to ensure timely delivery of quality dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food handling and serving areas
- Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items and specials to enhance guest experience
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy hours
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cashiering
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and serve guests promptly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions
- Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus
