About Us
Leramino Cosmetics is a small batch Cosmetics company based in Edmonton, Alberta. Currently specializing in Afro textured haircare built around science-backed ingredients — think hyaluronic acid and sea kelp bioferment — formulated to bring moisture, definition, and shine to coils, curls, and kinks. We're a small but growing local brand with a storefront in Station Park, Edmonton's shipping-container retail and food hall park on Whyte Ave.
The Role
We're looking for one dedicated person to run our boutique — solo, most of the time. This isn't a typical "stand at the register" retail job. You'll be fully in the mix: greeting customers, talking through ingredients and hair types, keeping the space beautiful, and handling the day-to-day of running a small shop with real ownership over how it's presented.
Schedule note: Our hours will run in an alternating pattern tied to the owner's rotational work schedule — some weeks you'll run the full week independently, other weeks the owner will be present or covering shifts as the business needs. Full details discussed at interview. Consistency and reliability matter a lot here, since there won't always be backup on-site.
What You'll Do
- Open and close the shop independently
- Handle sales, cash/POS, and daily reconciliation
- Speak knowledgeably about our ingredients and how our products work for different hair textures and porosities
- Keep the space clean, stocked, and well-merchandised
- Represent the brand consistently with what customers see on our Instagram and website
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable working solo with real responsibility — you're trusted to run things right
- Genuine interest in hair care / beauty, or a fast learner willing to get up to speed on our ingredients and product line
- Reliable and communicative — this role depends on someone we can count on
- Comfortable in a small, community-style retail setting (Station Park is a tight cluster of local vendors, not a big-box mall)
- Retail or customer service experience preferred, not required

Pay: $20/hour Hours: Sept - Mar ~40 hrs/week, Wednesday–Sunday (closed Mon/Tue)
April-Aug ~60 hours
