Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience from entry to checkout
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays, restock shelves, and ensure products are attractively presented
- Handle cashiering duties with precision, including cash handling, balancing registers, and processing returns or exchanges
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations,



and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure productive service and store cleanliness

Skills/Requirements

- Smart Serve Certified
- Understanding of Age Restricted Products
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments, especially in convenience sales
- At least 6 months of experience in Convenience store is preferred.
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse customer groups
- Ability to demonstrate products confidently through demos and explain features clearly
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and inventory management
- Organizational skills to maintain tidy displays and manage stock levels efficiently
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
