Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Ability to Commute/Relocate: Have reliable commute route OR plan to relocate before starting work

Salary Range: $37,000-$42,000 annual with a bi-weekly pay issuance, pay days on Fridays

Position Overview We are looking for a junior level Retail Purchasing Analyst who is detail-oriented, productive, and organized to join our Retail Purchasing Team. In this role,



you'll collect and analyze purchasing and market data to support strategic buying decisions, managing the end-to-end procurement process, and help resolve order exceptions by coordinating with retailers and internal teams.

You'll also play a key role in identifying cost-saving opportunities, supporting bulk purchasing initiatives with retailers, and maintaining well-organized sourcing data that keeps our procurement flow running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mindset, a genuine interest in retail purchasing, and a desire to grow into a full procurement role.

You will gain hands-on experience with the purchasing lifecycle while helping to improve operational efficiency along the way.

Responsibilities

- Collect and log purchasing data to support the team's purchasing strategy.
- Analyze purchasing and market data and prepare regular reports to support the team's purchasing decisions.
- Place online retail purchase orders on platforms based on the purchasing plan, and track order status through to delivery.
- Support development of bulk purchasing with retailers.
- Organize and maintain sourcing data in a consistent, usable format to support the procurement team's purchasing decisions and analysis.
- Handle order exceptions, coordinating with retailers and internal teams until resolved.
- Research and identify competitive deals and cost-saving opportunities for procurement.
- Identify, recommend, and implement enhancements to streamline purchasing workflows and increase operational efficiency.
- Assist with purchasing system upgrades, software implementations, and data migration projects as needed.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and budgetary guidelines.

Must-Have Requirements

- 1-2 years of work experiences in e-commerce, purchasing,



procurement, retail buying or data analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Data Analysis, Statistics or a related field.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized; able to accurately manage repetitive, high-volume purchasing and data-tracking responsibilities.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills; comfortable working with pricing, margins, and spreadsheet.
- Proficient in Excel and other office software; comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to speed up research and data collection.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and teamwork abilities for coordinating with sales and procurement teams.
- Genuine interest in retail buying/purchasing and building a career in procurement.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Prefer to Have Requirements

- Familiarity with online retail platforms (e.g., Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, or similar) and basic understanding of computer hardware/consumer electronics (e.g., gaming consoles, GPUs, RAM, SSD/HDD, etc.).
- Interested in long-term growth toward a full procurement/buyer role.
- Previous experience in ERP or purchasing systems will be advantageous.
