T1 SPORTS is a sporting goods store located in Richmond, BC, specializing in racket sports related products and services. T1 SPORTS has operated for over 15 years and is currently looking for a Permanent Full Time Retail Sales and Operations Coordinator to join our small business to help coordinate and manage the Store Operations.

[Position Summary]

As the Retail Sales and Operations Coordinator, you are a capable and dedicated team member who uses your knowledge to support the store’s day-to-day operations by assisting customers, maintaining the sales floor, coordinating with technicians & vendors, and managing online orders. This role is ideal for candidates who are interested in joining a small business and take on the responsibility of managing the store operations. This role has a career development chance to become the Store Manager, or take part of other management roles within the company, in the long term.

[Responsibilities]

(a) Customer Service – provide advice and assistance to customers in person, on phone, and online to complete sales transactions

(b) Sales Floor – organize sales floor, unpack and check deliveries, maintain product inventories, update price tags

(c) Operations Support – coordinate racket stringing jobs with technicians, manage orders and payments with vendors, maintain sales and inventory records

(d) E-Commerce – pick, pack, ship, update,



and follow up with online orders

(e) Others - support upcoming store renovations, future system upgrades, and other tasks as assigned

[Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required]

-Comfortable working in a small business setting

-Able to communicate, provide recommendations, and explain concepts in a patient and professional manner in person, on phone, and by e-mail

-Able to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced and busy retail environment good

-Pay high attention to details, motivated, and with a high willingness to learn

-Self-initiated, able to work independently at the store, as well as in a team setting

-Strong ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks

-Sound computer and math skills (e.g. Excel, E-mail)

-Familiar with Badminton & Tennis product knowledge OR proven ability to quickly learn, understand, analysis, and adopt to new product knowledge

-Able to handle payment accurately

-Able to lift up to 35lb

[Qualifications & Experience]

-Minimum 3-5 years of full time working experience or equivalent

-Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience

-Completion of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent

-Additional coursework in Business is consider an asset

-Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an important asset

-Experience with racket stringing is consider an asset
