Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them
- Provide detailed product information on construction, renovation and maintenance, and e-commerce options to help customers make informed decisions
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, transactions, and receipts
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques to boost sales and store appeal
- Handle cashiering duties efficiently, including processing payments in multiple currencies if applicable and managing cash registers
- Offer exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries in multiple languages if possible, ensuring all shoppers feel valued and understood
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure smooth transactions
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Experience with merchandising strategies to create appealing displays that enhance product visibility
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms to assist customers with online orders or product information online
- Outstanding organizational skills to manage inventory levels and maintain tidy store environments
