About Us
We are a fashion and lifestyle boutique with a wholesale operation, proudly serving our community in Kitsilano for over 13 years. We specialize in well-crafted fashion and thoughtful goods — mainly from Japan and Canada, with some from Europe — each carefully selected with attention to quality, craftsmanship, and sustainability. We are a small but dynamic team.
As one of our long-time team members is returning to Japan, we are welcoming two new members. This posting is for the Digital Marketing & Creative role. We are also hiring a Retail Sales & Operations Coordinator — if that sounds more like you, please see our other posting, or simply let us know in your application.
How We Work
- We're a team of five — the store runs with two people each day, and we rotate days off on a shift schedule
- Our store is the heart of everything we do — customer service always comes first
- When the store is quiet, we work on our own tasks on the floor — and on busy days, we take time in the back to focus on desk work
- Once a week we meet as a team to review, look ahead, and freely exchange ideas — everyone's voice matters here
- Open 11–6, seven days a week, with holidays around Christmas and New Year
- We pop up at local markets from time to time — and sometimes close the store for a little outing together
In the Store — Shared by Everyone
- Warm, attentive customer service and lasting customer relationships
- Receiving shipments, PO entry, and product registration (Lightspeed)
- Restocking, replenishment, and stockroom organization
- Opening/closing, cash handling, cleaning, and beautiful presentation
- Emails, customer inquiries (email, Instagram, voice messages), and review replies
- Preparing online orders for shipping
- Store supplies, price signs, and store info updates
- Wholesale support: order preparation, invoicing, follow-ups
Your Lead Area — Digital Marketing & Creative This is a basic outline — we'd love to shape the role around what you're good at and enjoy.

- Style and model our clothing, and photograph it yourself for our online store and social media — with or without your face, whichever you prefer

- Research trends and discover new brands through Instagram
- Manage our Shopify store: collections, seasonal imagery, discounts, and SEO
- Create and schedule ads, including ad video editing
- Track online traffic and insights
- Create graphics with Canva for Mailchimp, social media, in-store signs, and event POPs

- Love fashion, with a personal style that resonates with our store's aesthetic — this matters deeply to us
- An eye for photography, styling, and visual storytelling
- Comfortable being in front of the camera and shooting independently
- Friendly, proactive, and confident with customers
- Highly organized and dependable
- Business-level English and ability to read/write Japanese
