REVENUE MANAGER (MATERNITY LEAVE COVERAGE)

What your day will look like:
You’ll play a key role in shaping daily pricing, forecasting, and distribution decisions for a large, high‑volume hotel. Your day will blend analytical work, system management, and cross‑department collaboration, including:
- Managing pricing updates and ensuring rate accuracy across all systems (One Yield, PMS, OTA extranets, GDS).
- Monitoring inventory, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining rate parity across channels.
- Producing and analyzing key revenue reports (pickup, forecasts, rate shopping, competitive positioning, STR/CBRE data).
- Supporting Reservations by assisting with guest inquiries, arrivals checklists, rooming lists, FIT/airline bookings, and workflow oversight when operational needs require.
- Coordinating occupancy projections, rate strategies, and inventory decisions with Revenue leadership and Front Office teams.
- Conducting regular audits of reservations, websites, and distribution channels to ensure accuracy and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Assisting with group quotes, commission approvals, BRG claims, and special revenue projects.
- Contributing to daily/weekly/monthly reporting that supports strategic decision‑making and budget goals.
Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Reservations, Front Office, or Revenue Management in a hotel environment.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to analyze complex data, solve problems proactively, and manage confidential information appropriately.
- High level of initiative, dependability, and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong technical skills, including PMS proficiency and advanced computer literacy.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed, including weekends, statutory holidays, and occasional overnight shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and move throughout the hotel as required.
- Post‑secondary education in Hospitality Management is an asset.
