Job Summary
As the Team Lead, you will support the Custodian Operations Team in day-to-day operations across RMR/F&B; locations throughout the resort. As part of the custodian team, you will help with daily cleaning and enforcing consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation and support with on mountain snow removal. This job requires mountain travel (ski/ snowboard) with excellent safety awareness.
The Custodian Team Lead will report directly to the Custodial Supervisors

Essential Job Functions
- Help lead a crew of 6 staff each day while maintaining a professional and fun work environment.
- Act as a liaison between staff and Supervisors.
- Clean RMR and F&B; locations.
- Practice safe snow removal on the mountain which includes shoveling, ice chipping and roof raking.
- Always interact with guests and provide a high level of guest service.
- Maintain staff moral and inform Supervisors of any staff requirements/requests.
- Attend OH&S; meetings and bring forward any concerns that may arise. Having a proactive approach to safety.
- Maintain stock of materials around the resort and communicate with supervisors if items need to be ordered.
- Ensure injured staff are given the proper Workplace Injury Forms and document staff injuries.
Required Qualifications and Abilities
- Must be eligible to work in Canada - can provide work permit
- Hospitality experience preferred, but not mandatory
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- In good health and capable of working in a physically demanding job.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management skills
- First aid skills an asset.
- Advanced level skier or snowboarder
- M.S.D.S. training an asset (provided to all staff)
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
