Part-Time | Multiple Positions Available | Paid & Volunteer Opportunities

Kavosh AI & Robotics Academy is looking for passionate Robotics Coaches & Mentors to join our team and work with students ages 8–18.

We are hiring multiple applicants with different technical backgrounds and experience levels. You do not need to be an expert in every area of robotics. We are looking for individuals who can specialize in one or more areas and grow with our programs.

This is an excellent chance for university students, engineering/computer science students, recent graduates, and robotics enthusiasts looking for a flexible part-time position alongside their studies or other work.

What You’ll Do

Teach and mentor students ages 8–18 in robotics, programming, engineering, and AI.

Guide students through hands-on robotics projects and challenges.

Prepare students for competitions including RoboCup, FIRA RoboWorldCup, and Enjoy AI.

Support students with robot design, programming, testing, troubleshooting, and competition preparation.

Work with other coaches to develop strong competitive robotics teams.

Encourage problem-solving, creativity, teamwork, and independent thinking.

We’re Hiring Across Multiple Levels

Level 1 — Junior Robotics / Elementary Programs

Ideal for applicants familiar with educational robotics and interested in working with younger students.

Experience with one or more of the following is an asset:

LEGO Education SPIKE

VEX Robotics

WhalesBot or similar educational robotics platforms





Scratch / block-based programming

Basic Python

Sensors, motors, and basic robotics concepts

Level 2 — Advanced Robotics & Autonomous Systems

Ideal for engineering, computer science, mechatronics, AI, or robotics students with stronger programming and technical backgrounds.

Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:

Python and/or C/C++

Computer vision and image processing

Autonomous robotic systems

Sensors and actuators

Embedded systems and microcontrollers

Robot navigation and control

Platform-based mobile robots

Electronics and troubleshooting

Level 3 — RoboCup / High-Level Competition Coach For experienced applicants interested in advanced competitive robotics.

Strong experience in several of the following areas is expected:

RoboCup or similar advanced robotics competitions

Advanced programming

Computer vision and image processing

Autonomous robotics

3D CAD design and mechanical modeling

Electronics and circuit design

Reading and troubleshooting electronic circuits

Sensors, actuators, motors, and control systems

Robot integration, testing, and optimization

Previous RoboCup experience is a major asset for this level.





Who We’re Looking For

We especially encourage applications from university students studying:

Computer Science • Software Engineering • Mechatronics • Mechanical Engineering • Electrical Engineering • Computer Engineering • Robotics • AI or related fields

Previous teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or working with children is an asset. However, your primary background does not need to be teaching. Strong technical skills, communication, reliability, patience, and enthusiasm for working with young students are what matter most.

Competition experience with RoboCup, FIRA, VEX, FIRST, Enjoy AI, or similar programs is highly valued.

Volunteer positions are also available for university and high-school students interested in gaining hands-on experience assisting our coaches and robotics teams.
