We are seeking an experienced Roofing Superintendent with a strong background in commercial roofing and site supervision. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day roofing operations, supervise field crews and subcontractors, coordinate project schedules and materials, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards.

A strong background in commercial roofing and hands-on site supervision is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all day-to-day activities on commercial roofing job sites.

- Supervise roofing crews, forepersons, subcontractors, and site personnel.

- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, deliveries, and project schedules.

- Ensure roofing installations meet project drawings, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and quality standards.

- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship, safety, and productivity.

- Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, consultants, suppliers, and other trades.

- Review drawings, specifications, scope of work, and project requirements.

- Identify and resolve site issues, delays, deficiencies, and other project concerns.

- Maintain daily site reports, progress updates, and project documentation.

- Conduct toolbox talks and enforce company and job-site safety procedures.

- Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.





- Monitor project timelines and take appropriate action to keep projects on schedule.

- Assist with inspections, deficiency completion, project closeout, and warranty work.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Strong commercial roofing experience is required.

- Proven experience supervising roofing crews and managing active job sites is required.

- Minimum 3–5 years of commercial roofing experience, preferably in a Superintendent, Site Supervisor, Foreperson, or similar leadership role.

- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems such as TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, and metal roofing.

- Strong understanding of roofing installation methods, materials, flashing, insulation, membranes, and drainage systems.

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent understanding of construction and roofing safety practices.

- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between job sites as required.

- Relevant construction and safety certifications are considered an asset.
