- Studies and interpretations: Mapping and classification assessment of rock mass for foundations, bedrock, open rock faces or underground excavations (tunnels) according to GSI, Q and RMR ratings.

- Engineering design solutions: Contribute to the development and implementation of feasibility tests for proposed technical solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design.

- Recommendation of technical developments: Define assumptions and parameters for numerical modeling; prepare Geotechnical Baseline Reports (GBR);

- Project management: Perform technical follow-up to ensure the quality of executed works (excavation, drilling, consolidation for stabilization of rock faces, installation of rock bolts and/or anchors, grouting, shotcrete placement, in-situ testing, etc.), coordinate site monitoring activities (geotechnical instrumentation and others) and ensure effective communication with the client. Supervise various excavation works, including installation of temporary or permanent support systems and rock consolidation, grouting, etc.;

- Data collection and analysis: Prepare technical notes as well as study, feasibility and design reports for consolidation of rock faces (natural or excavated), tunnels and/or caverns; prepare drawings and specifications related to geotechnical design of temporary or permanent support in rock mechanics; perform numerical analysis using finite element and/or finite difference methods for geostructural designs in rock mechanics;

- Knowledge management: Implement policies and processes, collect best practices and case studies,

and participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions to gather and share lessons learned and innovative practices among colleagues on project/program outcomes.

- Client management (external): Contribute to client management on behalf of more senior business development staff using existing client management systems.
