Role Overview

Supply Ontario is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst with extensive experience in IBM Maximo Asset Management / IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) to lead and support a transformational initiative replacing the existing Maximo platform with MAS.

The successful candidate will bring 10+ years of Maximo experience , strong business and systems analysis capabilities, enterprise application implementation experience, business process modeling expertise, and hands-on experience with requirements elicitation, system integration, testing, UAT, and rollout activities.

The role will work closely with cross-functional business and technical teams to design enterprise work management solutions, document current and future-state processes, manage requirements, support system integrations, and ensure successful implementation and sustainment of the Maximo/MAS environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maximo / MAS Transformation

- Lead the transformational project to implement IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and replace the existing Maximo system.
- Provide strong functional and technical expertise in IBM Maximo Asset Management / IBM Maximo Application Suite.
- Support Maximo implementation and sustainment activities across enterprise asset management functions.

- Support areas including

- Asset management

- Planning

- Preventive maintenance

- Capital project delivery

- Contract and vendor management

- Service requests

- Work orders
- Support web, geospatial, and mobile Maximo technologies.
- Provide ongoing application support and ensure continuity of service.

Business & Systems Analysis
- Perform requirements elicitation and analysis for large-scale technology implementation projects.
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and document business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design effective system solutions.
- Elicit, document, validate, and confirm decisions related to business requirements.
- Investigate and document impacts on common and enterprise-wide work management system requirements.
- Evaluate and assess system and design options.
- Document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify opportunities for business improvement and recommend effective solutions.
- Apply a critical and creative mindset to develop innovative solutions for new and existing business challenges.

Business Process Modeling & Documentation
- Evaluate, recommend, and document business workflows, procedures, roles, responsibilities, system integration, and conversion strategies.
- Document as-is and design to-be business processes.
- Utilize Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standards for process documentation.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, procedures, roles and responsibilities, datasets, and other required project documentation.
- Develop business operational procedures and training materials.
- Identify and document system sustainment requirements.
- Prepare workshop and meeting documentation, minutes, status reports, summaries, and related project materials.

Enterprise Work Management




- Support the development of the Enterprise Work Management Program.
- Assist in developing common enterprise standards and work management process definitions.
- Support development of design considerations for the enterprise work management solution.
- Assist with technical scope documentation for procurement of professional services and other system requirements.
- Ensure business and technical requirements align with enterprise standards and operational objectives.

System Integration & Implementation
- Manage and support integrations between Maximo/MAS and other enterprise systems.
- Support analysis, architecture, design, testing, implementation, and rollout of large-scale IT solutions.
- Evaluate system integration and conversion strategies.
- Identify dependencies and impacts across enterprise systems.
- Support implementation activities and ensure continuity of service throughout system transition.

Quality Assurance & Testing
- Develop and maintain requirements-to-test Traceability Matrices.
- Support Quality Assurance management activities.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Conduct functional testing in an enterprise environment.
- Support and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Coordinate testing activities and document results.
- Support user training and system rollout activities.
- Experience with HP ALM is considered an asset.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- University degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of application systems experience performing requirements elicitation and analysis.
- 10+ years of experience with Maximo v7 or v8.
- Strong expertise in IBM Maximo Asset Management / IBM Maximo Application Suite.
- Minimum 10 years of experience evaluating, recommending, and documenting:

- Business workflows

- Roles and responsibilities

- Systems integration strategies

- Systems conversion strategies
- Extensive experience documenting as-is and designing to-be business processes using BPMN.
- Extensive experience supporting large-scale IT solution implementation and sustainment, including:

Work Arrangement The successful candidate will be required to work at Metro Hall, 55 John Street, Toronto , or another location within the Greater Toronto Area as required. The position follows a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days onsite per week .

The standard work schedule is approximately 7.25 hours per day, 5 days per week , during normal business hours, excluding breaks.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a Senior Systems Analyst / Maximo Specialist with 10+ years of experience in Maximo and enterprise systems analysis. The candidate should have strong experience leading Maximo/MAS transformation projects , business process reengineering, BPMN modeling, requirements management, system integration, QA/UAT, and enterprise work management initiatives.
