Role Overview The Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement is seeking a Senior Technology Architect with strong expertise in Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela), Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, enterprise networking, IP routing, OSPF, BGP, network security, and network automation .

The successful candidate will collaborate with Network Designers and project stakeholders to deploy Next Generation LAN and WAN infrastructure across MOH PSAP locations. The role will be responsible for network design, SD-WAN configuration, firewall implementation, routing, QoS, network security, troubleshooting, automation, and ongoing support in critical operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

Network Architecture & SD-WAN

- Collaborate with Network Designers to roll out Next Generation LAN and WAN infrastructure to MOH PSAP locations.
- Develop SD-WAN configurations, including policies and templates, in accordance with approved MOH network designs.
- Produce high-level and low-level network designs and associated design workbooks.
- Configure Cisco SD-WAN routers, LAN switches, and firewalls according to network designs.
- Develop and configure centralized and localized policies for traffic management and App-Aware Routing.
- Configure dynamic routing protocols, including BGP and OSPF, across SD-WAN and firewall devices.
- Implement QoS policies for Next Generation LAN and WAN environments.
- Test network configurations and troubleshoot complex network issues.

Palo Alto Firewall & Network Security
- Install, configure, and operate Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama.
- Develop, implement, and maintain firewall security policies.
- Configure High Availability (HA) firewalls across PSAP locations.
- Develop and configure Palo Alto Cloud Logging.
- Configure and deploy OOB management firewalls across PSAP locations.
- Apply network security configurations in accordance with approved architecture and project requirements.
- Support Palo Alto technologies including Panorama and XDR.

Network Installation & Deployment
- Perform physical installation of:
- SD-WAN routers

- LAN switches

- HA firewalls

- OOB management firewalls
- Deploy and maintain network configurations within the network inventory database.
- Work with facility SMEs and Cable Designers to support facility remediation activities.




- Maintain and support the network environment throughout the project Pilot phase.
- Perform additional network and project-related duties as required.

Network Automation & Configuration Management
- Assist with configuration management automation initiatives.
- Use Ansible, Jenkins, APIs, and scripting to automate network configuration and operational activities.
- Support automation and configuration management processes across network infrastructure.
- Work with tools and technologies such as Ansible Tower, Docker Containers, NetBox, and ELK/Earthflow stacks.

Network & Infrastructure Services
- Support VMware networking operations, including virtualized networking, VDS/VADs, clustering, and High Availability environments.
- Support enterprise IP routing and Layer 2 networking in data center environments using Cisco 9000-series switches.
- Implement QoS solutions for enterprise voice and support strong VoIP requirements.
- Support IPv6 environments.
- Work with Windows and Unix operating systems.
- Support enterprise infrastructure services including Active Directory, LDAP, and DNS/Infoblox.
- Configure and support Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager as an identity management solution.

Experience & Skill Set Requirements Core Skills – 50%

- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) implementation, configuration, migration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama, including installation, configuration, and daily operations.
- Solid VMware networking knowledge and experience.
- Expert-level IP routing and Layer 2 networking experience in data center environments using Cisco 9K switches.
- Strong VoIP experience, including implementation of QoS for enterprise voice.
- Fluent with both Windows and Unix OS administration.
- Strong IPv6 experience.
- Experience with network device configuration management using automation tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
- Experience with API scripting for network automation.

Technical Skills – 30%
- Strong knowledge of IP communication and routing protocols, particularly OSPF and BGP.
- Proven IPv6 experience.
- Experience implementing and configuring Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager.




- Knowledge and experience with Palo Alto technologies, including Panorama and XDR.
- Experience working on projects supporting 24x7 critical environments and operations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewall, and network security technologies.

- Ability to work collaboratively with network designers, engineers, facility SMEs, cable designers, technical teams, and other stakeholders.

Education & Experience
- Related degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable discipline is preferred.
- Alternatively, 7–10 years of equivalent network engineering experience may be considered.
