Special Education Technician 29 hours per week (Monday to Friday from 9:01 to 3:46) Temporary 28.40 - $40.88 per hour The principal and customary work of an employee in this class of employment consists in working with a multidisciplinary team to apply special education techniques and methods in keeping with an individualized education plan intended for handicapped students or students with social maladjustments or learning difficulties or in keeping with a program designed for students requiring specific support Develops, organizes and leads educational, pedagogical, cultural, recreational and sports activities aimed at developing social, cognitive, psychomotor, communication and other skills; Uses communication techniques adapted to students' needs; Collaborates, as needed, with youth protection agencies and other external stakeholders; 2) Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
