Overview

MGM Townsend Tire is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our busy team. This is a fast-paced position that involves much more than simply selling tires — you’ll be helping customers find the right tires and wheels, coordinating service needs, handling warranty claims, and supporting our team with day-to-day shop operations.

About the Role

As a Sales Advisor, you will be one of the main points of contact for our customers. You’ll help customers with their tire and wheel needs while also assisting with commercial and agricultural tires, mechanical service bookings, warranties, inventory, invoicing, and general customer service.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, can multitask in a busy environment, and has an interest in the automotive and tire industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist customers with selecting the right tires, wheels and rims for their vehicles and needs
- Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service
- Sell and coordinate passenger, commercial and agricultural tires
- Handle and process tire warranty claims from start to finish
- Book and coordinate mechanical and automotive service appointments
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with questions and bookings
- Schedule tire changes, installations and other service appointments
- Enter and process invoices and related paperwork
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring tire and wheel stock
- Communicate with customers regarding appointments, services, warranties and tire orders
- Work closely with technicians and other team members to ensure jobs are scheduled and completed efficiently
- Help keep customer and service information accurate and organized




- Assist with general day-to-day operations of a busy tire and automotive shop
- Provide excellent customer service while managing multiple tasks and priorities

What We're Looking For

- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace
- Automotive, tire or mechanical industry experience is an asset
- Knowledge of tires, wheels and rims is an asset
- Strong attention to detail, especially with orders, warranties and invoices
- Comfortable using computers and learning industry-specific software
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Reliable, professional and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of responsibilities

The Environment Spring and fall are especially busy seasons, so the successful candidate must be comfortable handling a high volume of customers, phone calls, bookings and service requests while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Every day can look different in this role. You may be helping a customer choose a new set of tires one minute, processing a warranty claim the next, answering the phone, booking a mechanical appointment, or helping the team track down inventory.

Pay: $26.00-$35.00 per hour
