After Eight Interiors is a flooring store located in Calgary, AB and we are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities

- Assisting sales staff with entering and ordering jobs.

- Creating quotes, order samples, request pricing and check stock.

- Coordinate with estimators, order desk and installations on job timelines and details.

- Create PO's, work orders, diagrams and invoices as needed

- Overseeing and troubleshooting jobs from booking to invoicing.

- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction

- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers during busy periods while maintaining professionalism

Requirements

- Must be able to read through architectural specs and apply to floor plans as well as read both commercial and residential floor plans





- Previous experience in sales or administrative assistance is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key

- Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities

- Must be adaptable and able to wear many hats and assist as needed

- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to handle transactions accurately while maintaining integrity and confidentiality

- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- A proactive attitude with a passion for helping

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
