What You'll Do:

- Meet, greet and provide friendly customer service.
- Suggest related products by actively listening to customer needs.
- Locate products in the store and warehouse, Guide customers to the location of requested items.
- Respond to and handle customer inquiries, requests and concerns in a timely manner.
- Learn about new products on a regular basis.
- Ensure that your department is customer ready at all times.
- Identify low stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Work safely and report any observed or potential hazards immediately.
- Complete other tasks when required.

What You'll Need:

- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Basic math and typing skills.




- Comfort in learning retail computer systems and tools.
- Ability to take direction and complete tasks in a team setting, or individually.
- Ability to adapt and cope with challenging and changing situations.
- Ability to consistently provide professional customer service, including in situations of conflicts.
- Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours, lifting and carrying items unassisted, using a ladder, twisting, turning, reaching. Merchandise items may vary in weight from “light” to “heavy”.
- Solid belief in the Canadian Tire values of honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Positive attitude, punctuality and solid work ethic.

Successful candidates will be able to work a variable schedule, of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Frequent lifting of variably weighted merchandise is a regular part of the working duties.
