Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

Verlo Mattress is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to grow our business throughout Dallas, McKinney and the surrounding DFW area.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys meeting current people, building relationships and creating new business. You will represent a locally owned company with custom mattresses made right here in our Dallas factory—and plenty of opportunity to grow along with us.

What You’ll Do

- Develop new business throughout Dallas and Collin County
- Build relationships with apartment communities, colleges, hotels, interior designers, real estate professionals, homebuilders, senior-living communities, healthcare providers and local businesses
- Prospect through calls, emails, networking, community events and in-person visits
- Schedule and conduct sales presentations
- Prepare quotes and follow up consistently until the sale is closed
- Maintain relationships with existing commercial and referral partners
- Track leads, contacts, follow-ups and sales activity
- Work closely with our Dallas and McKinney stores to coordinate orders and deliveries
- Meet monthly sales and new-account goals
- Represent Verlo professionally at chamber, networking and community events

What We’re Looking For

- At least two years of successful sales or business-development experience
- Outside sales experience strongly preferred
- Mattress, furniture, home furnishings, hospitality, real estate or related sales experience is a plus
- Proven ability to prospect, build a pipeline and close sales
- Highly motivated,



outgoing and comfortable approaching new businesses
- Excellent communication, presentation and follow-up skills
- Organized, dependable and able to work independently
- Comfortable being accountable for measurable sales goals
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the local territory
- Basic experience using email, spreadsheets and customer-management systems

Compensation

- Competitive base salary
- Uncapped commission

- Expected first-year earnings of $70,000–$100,000+, based on performance

About Verlo At Verlo Mattress, we do things differently. Our mattresses are locally made and individually crafted to meet each customer’s comfort needs. Our unique zippered mattress design allows us to adjust the comfort instead of expecting customers to replace their mattress every few years. We proudly serve North Texas from our Dallas and McKinney locations.
