The

Sandblaster/Painter is responsible for preparing parts and equipment for painting and protective coating, including performing sandblasting and surface preparation to ensure quality finishes. This position is based at our Mitsue Industrial Site in Slave Lake, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform daily hazard assessments and equipment checks.

- Sand body areas to be painted, prime, and paint repaired surfaces.

- Sandblast parts and equipment to required specifications.

- Clean and maintain all body shop equipment.

- Order and track required material and supplies.

Requirements

- Journeyman certification for Painting is preferred; significant experience considered.

- Minimum one-year experience in an industrial sandblasting workplace.

- Valid Driver's license.

- Familiarity with industrial coatings and ability to operate related tools.

- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work from heights, and wear specialized PPE including respirators.
