Responsibilities

- Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food handling areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Provide friendly, efficient service to all customers while upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick turnaround times without compromising quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change




- Follow all food safety procedures and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff

Experience

- Previous food preparation or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS is a plus
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Experience in cashiering or cash handling demonstrates reliability with financial transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques is advantageous
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order calculations are essential
