Responsibilities

- Monitor entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards
- Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security breaches with appropriate action or escalation
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for accountability and reporting purposes
- Enforce loss prevention policies by observing for theft or vandalism and intervening when necessary




- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents to ensure swift resolution

Skills

- Strong understanding of law enforcement principles and procedures to handle various security situations effectively
- Experience with surveillance systems, particularly CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to deter theft and protect company assets
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious activities quickly
- Clear communication skills for reporting incidents accurately and interacting professionally with staff and visitors
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while responding decisively in emergency situations
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods throughout shifts
