Responsibilities
- Monitor entry and exit points to control access for attendees, staff, vendors, and contractors using established security protocols
- Conduct regular surveillance used to observe activity across event venues and parking areas
- Enforce security policies to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access through vigilant observation and intervention
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Perform routine patrols of event sites and parking lots to identify potential hazards or suspicious activity
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and visitor movements to ensure accurate record-keeping
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraudulent activities and implementing preventative measures
Experience
- Prior experience in security services, parking management or related fields is highly desirable
- Familiarity with surveillance procedure and protocols is essential
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to deter theft and manage crowd control effectively
- Strong observational skills with the ability to quickly assess situations and respond appropriately
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse groups including law enforcement personnel, event staff, and visitors
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations
