Join our agile security team as a full-time or part-time Security Guard in Peace River! In this vital role, you will be the frontline protector of our facilities, ensuring safety and security through vigilant surveillance, proactive loss prevention, and effective communication. Your energetic presence will help maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property.

Responsibilities

- Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security risks or breaches.
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing and deterring theft or vandalism.
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and access records with accuracy and professionalism.
- Assist in enforcing security policies and procedures to uphold a safe environment for all personnel.

Skills

- Strong understanding of law enforcement principles and procedures to handle various security situations effectively.




- Experience with surveillance technology such as CCTV systems for continuous monitoring.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to minimize theft and property damage.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency responders.
- Basic proficiency in operating security equipment and recording systems.
- Ability to respond quickly and calmly in high-pressure situations, demonstrating sound judgment.
