Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Security Officer role based in Regina, SK.

The Security

Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and controlling access to facilities. Daily tasks include observing and reporting security incidents, responding to alarms and emergencies, enforcing site rules and procedures, and completing transparent and accurate incident reports. The role also involves liaising with clients, visitors, and employees in a professional manner, supporting risk mitigation measures, and cooperating with law enforcement or emergency services when required.

Officers are expected to follow established protocols, use security technology and communication devices effectively, and uphold Logixx Security Inc.’s standards of service excellence.

Qualifications

- Strong observational, situational awareness, and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and respond to security risks promptly.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear incident reports and interact professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.

- Knowledge of access control procedures, alarm response, and basic use of security systems such as CCTV, electronic access, and monitoring tools.

- Capability to conduct foot patrols, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks as required to maintain site security.

- High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.

- Ability to follow security protocols, work independently and as part of a team, and adapt to changing situations and client needs.

- Valid security guard license or eligibility to obtain one in Saskatchewan; First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.

- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.

- Comfort using computers or mobile devices for reporting and communication; familiarity with incident management software is an asset.

- Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by site operations.
