Cenovus Energy is seeking a Senior Analyst for Budgets & Forecast, focusing on financial planning and reporting in Calgary. Deliver insights that drive decision-making and enhance corporate performance. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Manager of Budgets & Forecast at Cenovus.

Your primary tasks will include consolidating forecasts, conducting variance analyses, and preparing updates for the executive team. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will enhance our financial planning processes and maintain reporting models effectively. Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities are crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Consolidate and analyze monthly forecasts for executive reports




- Conduct detailed financial variance analysis
- Prepare insights for decision-making support
- Update corporate performance scorecard monthly
- Drive process improvements in financial reporting Requirements:
- University degree in Finance or Accounting
- 8+ years of relevant business analysis experience
- CPA or CFA designation
- Robust analytical and communication skills
- Experience with SAP/BPC or Power BI Leverage your forecasting and analytical skills to support Cenovus's financial objectives and strategic planning.
